Wed 15th day 5 pre trip

Woke up to a beautiful sunrise in Warrnambool. Hit the road early as usual.   The accommodations thus far usually have a coffee, tea and a 2 pack of cookies or biscuits as the Australians say.  I scooped both packs up and put in my back pack in case I needed them for wildlife.

Stopped off Grampians road in Halls Gap. Good thing I had those biscuits because we came across a bunch of Cockatoos or Cockys as they say.  I quickly pulled out my stash of biscuits.

Still in Northern Grampians National Park we took another stop at Barooka lookout, in Halls Gap.  The lake in the background is Lake Belleville.

Moving onward we stopped closer to Zumstein at another lookout.  Such a beautiful country.

We moved onward toward Zumstein, Mckenzie Falls. We had to walk 140m to Mckenzie falls lookout. To The bottom was over 400 steps. Wasn't feeling it today, so we decided to pass on it knowing darn well we would have to come back up.

Here is a picture of the lookout.  I drew on it exactly where the top of the falls compared to the bottom of the falls.  Yea, not today.

250 miles today on some bootiful roads.  Long day. Several hours on interstate to get back home since we worked sightseeing in as well. Interstate out in the bush runs 110km/hr so good pace.  Met Mick at the house. Had to do the walk of shame and show him the scratch on the bike he let me borrow. Can't thank him enough for letting me borrow his bike!!
