Day 2- Saturday- to Jindabyne

More twisties toward Omeo highway.  Stopped at the East Kiewa River to take some pictures.  We are traveling with 8 people. Dan, Becky, Tony, Jenni, John, Mick, David and myself.

Made a stop at the East Kiewa River to take some pictures.

Then to the top of Falls Creek.  Lots of dead trees in the area due to a fire from 2009.

Then we stopped in Mitta Mitta.  We got a quick bite and ate by the river, took some pictures and when we headed back up to our bikes we were greeted by a lady holding a wombat.  So naturally Becky and I got excited and took some pictures.  The lady rescues the baby wombats from the mothers belly when they get hit, she was very informative.  This wombat was 18 weeks old.

Continued on and decided to make a stop for gas and a power nap for John, some others joined in as well. Took some pictures of Leather barrel creek.  We crossed over from Victoria to New South Wales.

Final destination...Jindabyne.  Stayed at the Ski Inn.  The best accommodations so far with a restaurant and bar right upstairs.  Rooms were big and king size bed was comfy.  Wifi was a different story, totally sucked.

Met up with Pete Hutchins (Farq from the speed triple site) at the end of the day.  Now there is nine of us.
