Day 1 pre Seppos Invasion ride

Had a nice sleep. Woke up to the magpies and a kookaburra. But still woke up at 630am. John's daughter Leah and her family stopped by and chatted a bit.  Then around 11:30am, we went for a ride.

Now I must say hopping on a bike that's not mine was a little stressful for me, however, comparing it to driving in the completely opposite side of the road and learning to look left to turn right is hardly something to worry with. I was feeling great because I was successful getting to where we were going with little worries.

Headed to Mt Arthur, to ride down the hill in air flight cars. Nice views but a little overcast so pictures are not super clear.  Ate at their little restaurant where Becky and I shared a Veggie and focaccia sub with feta. Truly delicious. Added a cappuccino, which was equally pleasing. Rode some nice roads afterwards. In fact the road in the pics, from the air, is the road we rode on. (Arthur Seat Road) After some twisties I decided to 'give the bike a rest'. Even though I layed her down gently, I was Feeling horrible because it's not my bike, I hopped back on and we rode home. The guys put her on the lift and fixed the clutch lever and signal light. The girls chit chatted in the house. We had some pizzas and Sauvignon Blanc to top the evening off. Oh and chocolate frogs (Australian chocolate) for dessert. Went to bed early as we had to get up early to go to the airport and pick David up. Yeah!
