Day 3- Sun Mar 19th-

Rode to Cabramurra via the Snowy Mountain hwy.  Beautiful.  Another small community atop the mountain.  Its the highest point in Australia, home of the snowy mountains. Sits 1488 meters above sea level, so compared to some of our mountains back home its still not very high.

A stop in Adaminaby, to pee and fix a blinker

Quick electrical tape to blinker fix

Rode from Cabramurra to Tumut then Gundagai.  Used some interstate, Hume Highway to finally make it to Yass for the night.  There we Met up with Bucket and his friends Paul and Steve.  Ordered some Dominos, since that was the only thing that delivered.  Very interesting their Dominoes is, the menu is quite different.  Theirs has a lot of barbecue bases, along with toppings like prawns with white sauce base.  They sell chicken nuggets (nothing like ours, ours are the bomb, theirs are plain).  I had a barbecue base pizza with no cheese to share with Dan and it really was delicious.

The roads thus far have been nice tight twisties in the beginning of the trip to now wide sweepers running along the country side in the middle of what looks like the bush.  Road quality differs from place to place as does home.  I find them unpredictable which has led me to have less confidence in higher speeds around tighter bends.  The roads have 'washboard' waves, or sometimes the left side of the lane will be rutted or trenched like.  They say its from not having a great base or foundation before pouring the actual road.

Paul, Steve, then Bucket.  They were drinking some home made brew.
